I am Ioannis Kyriakos, and I am happy to be joining the Healthentia team as a Data Science Director as of April 2025.
I hold a BSc in Statistics and MSc in Biostatistics from the Athens University of Economics and Business, with a specialization in Big Data and Business Analytics. Over the past 15+ years, I have had the opportunity to work across multiple industries and countries —ranging from FMCG and financial services to iGaming and consulting—building machine learning products, driving data strategy, and leading cross-functional teams.
In recent years, I have focused on AI-driven solutions, particularly in customer analytics, anomaly detection, and real-time risk modeling. I am passionate about leveraging data to solve real-world problems, and I find the eHealth sector a particularly exciting and meaningful space for innovation.
I look forward to working closely with the Healthentia team and beyond, learning from their expertise, and contributing to the continued success of the team and mission! I am especially enthusiastic about integrating predictive decision-making into Behavioral Change Coaching and exploring the application of GenAI within Healthentia. GenAI holds great promise as a personal digital health advisor — enabling dynamic, empathetic communication, providing intelligent and timely intervention suggestions, and simplifying complex medical data into accessible insights. This approach can greatly boost patient engagement while also empowering healthcare professionals with meaningful, context-sensitive support.
