Hi, my name is Panos Babalis and I’ve joined the Innovation Sprint team in July of 2021. So, as a new joiner let me saying a few things about myself. I was born and raised in Pirgos, a small city of Peloponnese in Greece, and in 2002 I moved to Athens to complete my studies in Management Science & Technology (University of Economics and Business). I have loved Athens and have been living here ever since. I have also gained a Master degree in Business Analytics (2018), during which I got in touch with areas such as Statistics, Machine Learning and Data Management.

I have been working for over 12 years in Consulting and have exposed in many projects among various industries. Among others, Life Science and Pharma industry was the most interesting and that’s why I realized that I wanted to follow my next career steps in this field. I have gained solid experience in Data Management, Reporting and Business Intelligence. In particular, I have been involved in development/ customization of various reports, design and implementation of ETL processes, applying ML algorithms in reports and personalized recommendations, identification of business requirements as well as analysis/design of new IT Systems.

Therefore, my contribution to Innovation Sprint could be summarized in the following: understanding the clinical and user needs and translating them to powerful visualizations and reports. That way, I could manage to analyze and extract vital information and insights about user’s health and lifestyle data, provide assistance in virtual coaching services as well as in monitoring, detecting and generating alerts regarding critical events based on patients’ data. Hence, I could play a vital role in supporting decision making utilizing business intelligence, data analytics and machine learning techniques.

To conclude, I expect to contribute a lot and be an invaluable addition at Innovation Sprint team by improving healthcare solutions and take them to the next level. I also expect to enhance my skills further in Business Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Hey everyone, my name is Vaggelis Tzironis and I joined the iSPRINT team on the 16th of July 2021. I was born and raised in Athens, Greece where I still live today. In addition to my work, I like going for a walk or ride a bike, especially in the evening or early in the morning; it makes me calm.

I studied Informatics and Telecommunications at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and I got my degree almost a year now.

I started working even before I finished my degree. My first Job was an internship and it was in the field of Cyber Security. I wanted to see from the inside how companies deal with such issues; what protection measures and mechanisms do they take, both prevention and mitigation.

After that, I decided that the Software Engineer path was more in line with what I wanted to do and I started working as a developer. A year after I discovered Innovation Sprint…

But how I found iSPRINT and what made me want to be a part of the team?

Well, I was searching for a fun and interesting working environment. I was also searching for something that I actually wanted to work with, an idea that will make me want to contribute, help and improve. My interests were mostly in web and mobile development. So, when I found Innovation Sprint, I realised that this might be the opportunity because it seemed to meet all the above criteria. Without thinking about it a second time I sent and after a few interviews; here I am.

But how am I going to contribute to Innovation Sprint?

Well, I am excited to work with the team on the Healthentia App. I want to contribute in order for the App to be recognized by more people; to make all of them that take their health seriously understand what a useful tool it is, and to add new features that will make the App more complete.
